Yes.  Salina Grace is a tax exempt 501c3 non-profit organization.  

We offer showers and laundry Monday-Friday from 9:00 – 11:00am.  You will sign up in advance for either/both services with one of our Community Navigators. 

Yes.  You may opt for a to-go lunch rather than eating lunch at Salina Grace.

No.  Our services are completely free of charge. 

No.  Emotional Support Animals are not allowed inside the building.  Only approved Service Dogs that have been individually trained to do work or perform a task for a person with a disability are allowed inside the building.  Service animals are working animals, not pets. The work or task a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person’s disability. 

Our food comes from private donations, Project Salina, and the Kansas Food Bank.

Most individuals are not dangerous but are simply struggling. If you feel safe, a smile or respectful conversation can make a big difference. If the situation seems unsafe or there’s a medical or behavioral health concern, contact local authorities or crisis services.

While giving money may feel helpful, it often keeps people trapped in cycles of crisis. Instead, support agencies like Salina Grace that provide life-changing, long-term help. 

Yes, small bags with snacks, hygiene items, socks, and encouraging notes can be meaningful. Just avoid items that could melt or spoil in heat or cold. Include a resource card with shelter info when possible.
